Host Mortem launched yesterday! Featuring fictional takes (or is it?) of Kevin Shinick (Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego?) and Greg Lee (Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?) as they move through time to solve a real crime. Pippa Bowland has been delivering such a moody vibe with her colors, appropriately pushing the noir feel, art also coming in from Andrea Schiavone, so happy to have Taylor Esposito on board and working with his letters once again, and of course the backing of Clover Press.
And then we got THE Kelley Jones t to do a cover too! If you’re not familiar with Kelley, you should be. One of the artists who really broke hyper stylized conventions in comics, with iconic runs in Batman, Deadman, The Sandman, and Swamp Thing, and most recently an adaptation of Dracula. That he did a cover featuring a design I helped create, it’s one of the highest honors one can have as an artist.
Outside of my own cover, there’s also covers from Tony Foti and Tim Anderson.
